- You are required to submit a personal statement of two pages, consisting of a motivational statement for your application to Imperial and the scholarship, along with any additional supporting information that will strengthen your application. The second page should be dedicated to your research proposal. If your department shortlists you for the scholarship, you may submit updated versions of this statement.

- For the names of two academic referees, please provide individuals who can give an academic reference to support your application, such as your tutor or thesis supervisor. Your proposed PhD supervisor should not be included. It is advisable to share this guidance with your referees, particularly the recommendation to use ‘they/them’ language instead of gender pronouns.
